Email Marketing Manager

Position Summary: The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the Live! Hospitality email marketing channels. The person in this role will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the company’s email strategy, including content development, template development and optimization, and implementing email best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plans and implements email marketing strategies and campaigns via the company’s email service provider: Hive.co
  • Collaborates with the Field Marketing teams on content schedule and email cadence
  • Develops and socializes email performance dashboards with key KPI’s (Open Rates, Click-Thru Rates, and Conversion Rates)
  • Optimize existing email templates and/or develop new templates in order to achieve key benchmarks.
  • Develops a comprehensive email test plan (i.e. A/B testing, offer testing)
  • Collaborates with Website Marketing Manager and Social/Paid Media Manager to execute national and regional integrated campaigns and promotions
  • Drives the building and growth of the contactable database
  • Acts as the project leader for the development of the future Live! Hospitality loyalty program
  • Assists with budget preparation for marketing department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of email marketing principles, strategies, and best practices
  • Proficient with Email template design
  • Familiarity with the Hive.co email service provider platform, or other similar sophisticated ESPs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required.
  • Five to seven years of related experience preferred.
