Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) is looking for a temporary Eligibility Data Entry Representative to join our team. We are seeking exceptional customer service, computer, and conflict resolutions skills to interact with Health Plan Participants and team members regarding health plan options, eligibility enrollment and premiums information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of comparable work experience is a plus.
  • Health insurance or eligibility operations experience is highly desirable
  • Accurate typing- 45 WPM/10 Key by touch
  • Proficient PC Skills; MS Word and MS Excel experience required
  • Pleasant and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills; ability to explain and confirm understanding of complex issues..
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task, handle fast-paced work, and meet deadlines.
  • Motivated self-starter and well-organized in managing time and materials.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and able to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers and outside contacts. You must have the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor.
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability with the ability to work overtime/ extended hours as required.

Your Responsibilities would include:

  • Review and process participant and dependent records, addresses, beneficiary designations, plan selections, Coordination of Benefits information, student documentation, life insurance etc.
  • Complete tickets created by call center representatives
  • Create mailing letters and labels using both Word and Excel
  • Respond to service and Participant emails
  • Assist with special projects as needed and complete other duties as assigned.
