Summary of Position

We are seeking Teacher Assistants/Support staff to contribute to our vibrant learning community. The teaching assistants will work closely with licensed lead teachers in a variety of ways to facilitate and nurture a rigorous yet supportive learning environment. Assistants may lead one-one-one or small group instruction, reviewing or reinforcing class lessons, or helping them find information for assignments. They will help the lead teacher prepare lesson materials, stock supplies, and set up classroom equipment and will assist with transitions and supervise students on the playground and in the school building

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers starting out in the field, working on advanced degrees, or wishing to gain experience in the education field.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field

Demonstrated experience in working with and teaching children.
