Job Summary
:
Under the supervision of Thome PACE and Huron Valley Executive Directors, the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Administrator is responsible for oversight of the company’s Electronic Medical Record and related operations. This includes but is not limited to functional status, upgrades, data migration, integration with other tools, generation of reports, system security, and user management. The EMR Administrator will work in tandem with Brio IT Team, Finance Team, Quality and Compliance team members and the EMR vendor, as well as interdisciplinary team members.

S kills and Knowledge:
  • Must be self-directed, function independently, have flexibility and be committed to the team concept
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or IT software implementation

Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Health Information Technology, Health Information Management, Data Management, or related degree is preferred; will consider commensurate experience in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a healthcare office environment using an Electronic Medical Record
  • One year of experience with a frail, elderly population.
Desired Qualifications
  • Project management experience

All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, verification of professional licensure, if applicable, and TB Screen at time of hire. In addition, proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is required.

Salary will be based upon experience.
