TITLE: Electrified Propulsion Fuel Economy and Performance System Simulation Engineer
DUTIES: Responsible for leading the evaluation of fuel economy, acceleration performance, capability (e.g. trailer tow) and drivability for new electrified powertrains and vehicles using computer modeling techniques (GoFAST) and test data analysis. Analyze architectures and concepts to achieve functional requirements. Create models to analyze the performance of these concepts relative to requirements. Responsible for first principles analysis, development of detailed models, simulation using these models, analysis of the simulation results and conclusions from the simulation. Communicate the results in oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, COEs, Component Engineers and others including Powertrain management.
