Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change

Position Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide array of electrical issues
  • Repair issues that are found
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Manage material, deadlines, and quality control
  • Repair and replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures
  • Closely follow all state/local building regulations from the National Electrical Code

Experience and Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of Five years of documented work in Residential electrical installation
  • Minimum Two years of experience as a Service Technician preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of duties, responsibilities and expectations as applies to size and type of project
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, evaluate and develop Journeymen and Apprentices
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Strong Initiative - Perform job tasks with a high degree of drive, hustle and aggressiveness, time efficient and self-directed.
  • Effective Communicator - Able to verbally communicate work instructions, able to use written communication skills at an average or above-average ability, basic ability to demonstrate computer skills.
  • Role Model - Viewed by supervisors, peers and customers as an outstanding performer that sets gold standard examples of safety, work quality and attendance.
  • Team Player - Ability to work irregular and extended work hours to include weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting
  • Must be able to speak English and hear to communicate
  • Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools
  • Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding, (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
