The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

Acting on calls from and providing assistance to dealers, engineers, installers, customers, technicians, users and customer support staff
Aiding in support and troubleshooting of complex problems
Accessing company products remotely to troubleshoot
Performing pre-shipment tests
Traveling up to 45% to customer job sites to help troubleshoot because no one else is able to figure it out
Programming PLCs
Creating training materials and training others
Providing rotating after hours support

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:

A related degree
Five years of technical product support experience in a manufacturing environment
Five years of experience understanding various schematics
Two years of Micrologix installation experience
Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair PLCs
Possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
