Electrical Maintenance Technician
The Opportunity
Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technican to work at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and rebuild machines, perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned and responds to breakdowns in a professional and timely manner while following all safety protocols. Working knowledge of Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.

Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brands.

Responsibilities May include:
- Repair, maintain, and rebuild the production, shipping, and facility equipment, including electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Respond to calls from production, shipping employees, and management to make repairs
- Coordinate maintenance processes with the production department in a way in which the production output and packaging is least affected
- Perform established preventative maintenance programs
- Assist with all aspects of new equipment installation
- Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping standards
Qualifications
- Advanced skills in electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Must have own maintenance tools, including 480 volt and 3 phase electric voltmeter, and able to use
- Ability to work with electrical circuits including 24 volt controls, 120-240 volt, single and three phase service
- Capable of using programmable logic controllers to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
- Must be able to read and understand written and verbal policy, instruction and directions in English
Experience
10+ years of experience in:
- Industrial maintenance
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- DC drives, servos, solenoids, photo eyes, relays, limit switches and electric motors
- PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley, Siemens and Direct Logic
Education:
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent
- Associates degree in electrical or mechanical field or graduation from a trade school, any certifications are a plus, preferred
