CLASSIFICATION: Electrical Engineer V; Salary TBD

GRADE: Exempt; Regular Full-time

LOCATION: TS C-80/Eglin AFB, FL

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide engineering support for testing of conventional munitions at Arena, Insensitive Munitions, and Environmental Test Facilities. Design and integrate solutions for data acquisition/reduction, sensor calibration, instrumentation control, and audio/video recording systems, utilizing off-the-shelf hardware and software. Fabricate, troubleshoot, and repair Analog and Digital electronics equipment. Maintain and manage configurations of Range Personal Computer hardware and software. Communicate with customers to establish test requirements and specify test resources.

GENERAL DUTIES: Generate estimates, track costs, and procure materials for test programs and Government Improvement and Modernization programs. Work with site personnel during test setup, execution, and cleanup of explosive test missions. Improve system resources and workflow. Train technicians on theory and operation of technical systems. Develop and maintain plant-in-place records, operating instructions, and configuration management documentation.

OTHER DUTIES: Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary to support contract/mission support requirements in job-related areas.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Candidate must be capable of obtaining CompTIA Security+ and Windows 10 OS Certifications.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Supports E-OMS operational objectives; observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies. Supports Process Improvement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: May perform work assignments in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment. Some tasks and assignments such as the installation, operation, and maintenance of mobile systems or range instrumentation will require work performance in outside environments in heat or cold.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be capable of maintaining physical condition to regularly lift 50 pounds. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include a respirator. Must be capable of regularly climbing extension ladders, tower ladders, stepladders and stairs and utilize safe rigging and lifting techniques. Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitively. Requires the ability to regularly kneel.
