Title: Electrical Engineer Technical lead

Location: Florence, KY – Onsite

Duration: 8-12 months w/possibility for extension

Status: Must be a U.S Citizen to Qualify

Job Description:

• Working under the direction of the Systems Engineer/Principal Engineer, the Electrical Engineer will layout the power and control components required for the system.
• The EE will design the control panel and select all components (high voltage/low voltage) to meet the power and controls requirements. High voltage on this project is typically less than or equal to 600 V.
• The EE will design the electrical circuits based on NEC requirements for overcurrent protection as well as properly size all conductors per NEC.
• The EE will collaborate with other engineers to leverage existing products where possible to expedite the design process as well as minimize costs.
• The EE will work collaboratively with the Designers on the program to design the control panel and all corresponding electrical subassemblies as well as routing the cables.
• The EE will also work closely with the assigned Designers in the completion of the drawing package as well as develop the Bill of Materials for all components associated with the electrical system. The team should refer specifically to the go-by drawing package as their best guide for success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Military and/or Automotive experience is highly desired
• Must have 2 years of Siemens NX CAD Software experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Electrical/Schematics Design experience
