As the Education Program Administrative Assistant, you will support the Marquis Nursing Assistant Training Program. You will work directly with the program administrator, program recruiter, home office employees and facility Human Resources/Staffing Directors.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Tasks:

  • Assist with coordinating Level 1 Certified Nursing Assistant classes at Marquis Facilities.
  • Communicating with nursing assistant students who have been enrolled into the course.
  • Processing background checks and license verifications.
  • Manage extremely confidential information.
  • Process student enrollment and new hire paperwork as needed.
  • Manage new student testing with the state of Oregon for appropriate nursing licensures.
  • Look for continued improvements and work efficiencies.
  • Correspond with Hiring Manager within the company to support their hiring needs.
  • Ability to assist and maintain external job postings.
  • Responsible for preparing class materials.
  • Assist with ordering, stocking, and distributing classroom supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain program files – both paper and electronic.
  • Support Education Program team both locally and remotely
  • Ability to be extremely organized and detailed oriented while handling enrollment paperwork
  • Develop a strong understanding of OSBN rules and regulations.
  • Weekly reporting tracking current open positions
  • May be involved in other project work as needed.
Qualifications


Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience as an administrative assistant is a plus.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
