We are looking for an Ecommerce Product Catalog Specialist that will play a crucial role in the maintenance and expansion of our web-based product catalogs at Shamans Market. This role be tasked with creating, building, maintaining, and evolving our ecommerce marketplace and product catalogs.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain and create content for new and existing catalog products in Shopify.
• Write website copy, including product and artisan descriptions.
• Product management including adding, editing, and removing products.
• Sorting, organizing, measuring, counting, and labeling of new products received for sale.
• Maintain selling account data and products across multiple ecommerce marketplaces including Amazon and Walmart.
• Work directly with staff photographer for product images and video.
• Work directly with the receiving department for inbound new and existing products.
• Stay up to date on current ecommerce processes and concepts.

Requirements

• Keen attention to detail—ability to create content and data without errors.
• Professional writing voice that can adapt to a variety of styles and create compelling copy.
• Organizational skills—able to keep track of new products separating, organizing and tagging them while maintaining ownership while they are in the process of being cataloged.
• Excellent problem-solving skills—able to quickly analyze problems and identify solutions without help from others.
• Editorial skills in areas of accuracy, voice, readability, and grammar
• Knowledge or eagerness to learn the ecommerce processes, concepts, and best practices from marketing essential.
• Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge and experience using Word and Excel and ability to learn new industry specific software.
• Ability to work within a team environment or independently.
• Ability to multitask between different systems. Strong analytical skills.
• Job includes occasionally lifting boxes or products up to 40 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• This is a Part-Time position, 20-25 hours, Monday – Friday, flexible hours.

Strongly Preferred, but not required

• Experience with Shopify.
• Experience with maintaining SEO.
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central
• Experience with a project management system such as Asana.
