A Driver Manager as an essential role within our frontline operations at ATS. By Utilizing your coaching and leadership skills to manage & develop a fleet of 35-45 drivers, you will lead your fleet in achieving safety, service, revenue and retention goals. As a Driver Manager you develop strong relationships, trust and mutual respect with your drivers, anticipate needs and take proactive measures to ensure positive outcomes. Interactions with drivers, customers and all stakeholders will champion ATS's corporate values – Integrity, Determination, Responsibility, Innovation and Excellence.

OPPORTUNITY
The Driver Manager is responsible for meeting both the driver's practical needs and the follow through of service to our customers.

• Lead, coach, develop and provide feedback to assigned fleet of drivers through verbal and written communications.
• Promote & support driver safety initiatives while setting expectations of productivity to create a lucrative income for each driver.
• Proactive communication with internal partners; CSRs, planning, sales, safety, etc. the status of loads and any issues that may impact drivers, customers or ATS.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment while upholding ATS guidelines, policies and values.

HOURS:

The Driver Manager opportunity offers work/life balance with a Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM core schedule with an occasional Saturday morning requirement.

COMPENSATION:

Where there is challenge, there is reward - competitive base salary along with a 12-month training incentive. Realistic first year total compensation can range from $62,000 to $70,000.
