Position Summary:
The Family Life Center (FLC) program located in Atlantic County is seeking a part-time Driver/Activity Coordinator Aide. The Family Life Center is a safe and family-friendly environment offering parenting education and support to individuals who are involved with the Division of Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). The goal of the Family Life Center is to reduce the risk for situations of abuse or neglect by offering services and activities designed to foster constructive parent/child interaction and positive family development.
Location: Absecon/Egg Harbor Township, NJ
Status: Part Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Driver/Activity Coordinator Aide is responsible for transporting clients to and from program, maintains the upkeep of agency vehicles, provides activity coordination with assistance in the planning and provision of age appropriate activities for children when parents are in groups that are not appropriate for children, and regard all information about clients as confidential.
Requirements:

• High School graduate (or equivalent) and previous experience working with infants and children
• Must be able to work with infants and children in a community mental health environment
• Sensitivity in functioning in a multi-cultural work setting
• Dependability and ability to work well with others
• Ability to communicate clearly and consistently
• Initiative and creativity
• Sensitivity and understanding in human relations
• Current driver's license & good driving record of 3 years
• Vehicle with current insurance and registration
