POSITION: Door Shop Associate
LOCATION: Denver, CO
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday

PAY: $18.00-$22.00 per hour, D.O.E. + quarterly/annual performance bonuses based on branch/company performance

We are looking for a Door Shop Associate to work saws, cutout machines, and pneumatic tools to create and customize doors based on pre-established protocols and customer orders. Our ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and prioritizes safety. While prior experience is definitely a plus, we are happy to provide training and we welcome those who are looking to gain experience!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Read and understand orders as received
  • Assemble pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specifications
  • Review all finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of construction
  • Use power tools such as mills, saws, and joiners
  • Use pneumatic tools such as nail guns
  • Analyze and resolve work problems
  • Work with a team to create and build products
  • Palletize and prepare finished orders for shipment
  • Work to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Enact company policies and abide by safety regulations


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 year of experience using door cut out machines, mills, saws, joiners, nail guns, or other carpentry tools (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift/move/manipulate up to 100
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read a tape measurer accurately and consistently to 1/16”
  • Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, diagrams, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Strong problem-solving skills
