Job Description


To help us keep our ducks in a row, Lakeshore’s Research, Design & Development Department in Carson could use the support of a full-time Documentation & Sample Admin who thrives in a fun, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. The DSA will have strong attention to detail and play a very vital role to the operations of the team. A day in the office looks like this:

  • Anticipating the needs of the Product Developers and identifying potential issues and providing solutions, allowing the Product Developers to focus on the product and not the operational tasks involved
  • Executing all assigned operational responsibilities, including managing the product data, paperwork and sample processing throughout all phases of the development cycle
  • Prepare and process documentation for the product development team, such as new item cost work sheets and vendor agreements.
  • Communicating effectively with cross-functional team members and management
  • Performing additional tasks to support the developer and/or development process, such as product assembly, mock-up and function testing on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to proactively manage multiple projects/deadlines
  • Ability to identify routine issues and provide potential solutions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Egoless, collaborative approach to producing great work
  • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions
