We are currently hiring for:

Job Title: Dock Material Handler - 1st Shift

Job Summary: Dock Material Handler is responsible for operating the powered industrial truck and forklift to move product, equipment, or materials.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely.
  • Responsible for pre-operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift.
  • Operate a scanner and learn the required transactions in the process.
  • Responsible for picking both fresh and frozen products.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation.
  • Maintenance and good housekeeping duties.
  • Responsible for cooler and freezer operations.
  • Repair and sort pallets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Previous powered industrial truck and forklift experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in cold environment.
  • Must be able to become certified operator for both the powered industrial truck and forklift.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
