  • Creating inclusive solutions that drive change and impact to the employee lifecycle
  • Developing and designing programs to engage, diverse talent
  • Creating programs to facilitate inclusion for leadership

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Implementation Specialist will report to the VP, Diversity, Equity, &Inclusion (DEI) Strategy & Insights and be responsible for implementation and project management for the DEI portfolio. This includes but is not limited to, DEI enterprise programming, skill-building, policy changes, strategy execution and coordination of DEI ambassador liaison activities. This role will support the DEI team as well as the activities of the DEI ambassador ecosystem and the racial equity commitments. Working with key stakeholders (HR, Business Partners, etc.) this role is responsible for responding to external requests for information on our DEI programming which may include event participation, surveys, awards and business requests. In addition, the DEI Implementation specialist may have external client relationship responsibilities that support and align with our inclusive talent strategies. This role is location agnostic but may require travel (up to 25%).

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with and support internal DEI teammates in the execution of the DEI strategic priorities aligned to enterprise goals
  • Leads implementation work related to DEI strategy, including programming logistics, management of CDE communication mailbox and content creation
  • Support internal and external DEI branding opportunities such as RFPs, award submissions, surveys, and event requests
  • Responsible for managing, supporting and training on the Balance Reach Tool in support of DEI Good Faith Efforts
  • Develop and create presentations, content and materials that support the DEI team
  • Leads in supporting the DEI Ambassdor meeting content, initiatives and progress in partnership with the DEI VP of USIR & GT
  • Client Relationship management of key external partners who support the DEI work through thought leadership, training, skill building, branding or talent acquisition

Skills Required:

  • Strategic project management
  • Demonstrated experience or certification in DEI is a plus
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products required; Excel, Workday, PowerPoint (Tableau is a plus)
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Relationship management

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in project management
  • Proven experience in DEI related work-certification a plus
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence others at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle and protect confidential and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently on multiple projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and teach others

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $86,300.00 to $128,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
