Job Summary

In this position, you will be responsible for all duties related to LTL, TL, receiving, and replenishing. Utilizing a stand-up and sit-lift, you will pick products, load trucks, and unload trucks. Utilize a cherry picker occasionally to verify locations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

* Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
* Uses proper safe methods when operating all machinery/equipment in the area.
* Verify forklift is in proper operation condition at the start of each shift on a daily basis.
* Process picks systematically using LIDs program
* Systematically receive/load material using LIDs program
* Utilize LIDs program to determine if replenishment stock is available for empty locations
* Take picked product to wrappers/UPS/FedEx for physical processing
* Deliver completed pallets to designated areas.
* Weight and acquire dimensions of pallets
* Print out and attach packing lists to pallets when appropriate
* Verify locations utilizing cherry picker
* Stack boxes on pallets in appropriate manner

Education (minimum education required)

H.S. Diploma Equivalency/ GED

Experience (minimum experience required)

* Basic mathematic skills
* Basic reading skills
* Ability to read bills of material/pick list

* Ability to drive stand-up/sit-down forklifts and cherry picker (MY RECOMMENDATION: Ability to operate and follow training on forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment/machinery as needed)
* Must have the ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
* Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, sense of urgency.
* Must be over the age of 18
* 3-4 years forklift experience preferred
* Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing
* Warehousing knowledge
* Must have good attendance and safety record.

Preferred Experience (i.e. industry experience)

* Warehouse conditions -Mimics temperature outside.
* Hours of work - Standard day is 8 hours. Must be able to work up to 12 hours/day frequently, 7 days/week infrequently
* Driving a forklift - Constant movement of head/eyes. Steering requires constant movement of hands/wrists/shoulders

8:30pm - 7am
