Newly opening, vertically integrated cannabis company in Berkley Ma looking to build a dynamic, positive and team oriented staff to bring us to the next level of cannabis service and production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for the management and oversight of an adult use retail dispensary that is licensed by the State of Massachusetts, as well as performing all of the functions related with management and oversight of the retail business.

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure that an accurate inventory of all cannabis, and non- cannabis items is being kept at all times.
• Daily checks and recording of point of sale cash drawers and nightly deposits.
• Build effective and efficient opening and closing procedures for the dispensary.
• Managing dispensary staff, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding assistance, conducting performance evaluations, training management, staff promotion recommendation, disciplinary actions, termination, documentation of staff, education of product and Company’s standard operating procedures and scheduling.
• Manage and monitor the activities of the dispensary, to ensure that all procedures in the store are brought up to date in order to meet current regulations and offer the most effective treatment to both employees and guests.
• Build training procedures so that the retail staff will have a comprehensive understanding of all marijuana and marijuana-infused or derived products being sold to patients, as well as best practices of consumption for any consumer.
• Working as a team leader to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service.
• Driving of sales of all materials cannabis and non-cannabis on a consistent basis.
• Building and maintaining relationships with vendors.
• Communication to COO / Director of all Key Performance Indicators during weekly meetings

• Communication to COO / Director of any complaints during daily operations or negative customer interactions as soon as possible

• When applicable welcoming each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language, verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for guests
• Managing the cleaning, stocking, and organizing dispensary; working with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked in accordance with the Company’s standards at all times
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of industry trends and products offered
• Updating menus and signage with informative and visually appealing information
• Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Knowledge of cannabis required
• 5 years of cannabis retail management required
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend and evening hours
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, Point of Sale software, and cash management
• Must be 21 years of age
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Position Summary

The Dispensary Manager will oversee all retail operations. This person will work to improve dispensary sales, profitability, and image through extraordinary customer service, and supervision of the Dispensary team members. General job duties include full knowledge of seed to sale and point of sale systems, product knowledge and education, inventory controls, purchasing and receiving of goods, vendor relations, staff maintenance, hiring, training, disciplining, termination, documentation, evaluations and scheduling of the Dispensary team while also setting standards and protocols for daily operations to ensure the best possible employee and customer experience.
