The Winfield at Richmond Heights is a Senior Living community located in Richmond Heights that provides Independent and Assisted Living Services. Our Community promotes a warm and respectful atmosphere for all of our residents and staff.

The Winfield at Richmond Heights is currently searching for Dishwasher for an immediate hire.

The Main Function of the dishwasher position is to perform a number of kitchen duties including dishwashing, pot washing, bussing tables, delivering in-room dining trays to resident apartments, general cleaning duties and storing food and non food supplies and to maintain a clean kitchen and dining area in an efficient manner

This position reports to the Director of Dietary Services and the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Be prompt. Report all absences or tardiness within two hours of starting time in accordance with company attendance policy
• Be neat, clean and in uniform-maintain standards for personal appearance
• Set up the dish and pot washing areas
• Put away and store clean dishes, utensils, glassware and pots
• Maintain sanitary conditions in work area throughout shift
• Assist with in-room tray service
• Assist wait staff in busing tables in dining room
• Drain and clean dish machine at the end of shift, report any issues to supervisor or department head
• Transport garbage to outside dumpster
• Assist with putting away stock/inventory
• Complete department cleaning schedule
• Complete other tasks/duties assigned

• Must present the highest standards of customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers, and visitors
• Have friendly, outgoing personality and sincere desire to serve the aged
• Must be able to deal with residents under all conditions
• Must be willing to pitch in and work in areas other than dietary
• Must be adaptable to change
• Must have critical thinking ability, must be able to determine solutions to problems that arise
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass new hire physical and have clean background check
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
