The Role
The Director of Sales (DOS) is responsible for implementing and directing the property’s sales activities through the Marketing Plan. They coordinate services and activities related to the sales function to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability. The DOS is responsible for revenue production and the hotel meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for RevPAR, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR). They manage all sales areas according to Newport standards to build professional rapport within the business community.
