Responsibilities

As a Director of Sales, you bring high-energy, customer-centric focus and drive/hunger to the total sales efforts of the hotel Grow and maintain relationships with key clients to produce topline business, including room,revenues. Strategize, implement, and accomplish quarterly sales plans Lead and partner with operational departments relating to all sales outcomes Champion brand and company reputation, cultivating relationships with local community groups, companies, entertain and/or travel to events to generate business Proactively conduct sales blitzes, outside sales, inside sales, and/or new conversations to spark new leads. The main focus of the role is sales and marketing however individual must be willing to work with front desk team on shifts for training purposes to find new leads and understand all aspects of hospitality. The sales position will be shared between two hotels: Country Inn & Suites Kenosha, WI (3-4 days per week) and La Quinta Inn & Suites Bannockburn, IL (25 minute distance, 1-2 days per week).

As operations manager part is to train and supervise the Guest Service departments so that they provide superior customer service and operate the hotel to assure the highest possible level of guest satisfaction The overall operations of the Front Desk includes room rental, reservation management, scheduling front desk and breakfast bar staff, training, frequency program training and administration, record keeping, report preparation, guest relations, service reports, following service and quality policies, and operating procedures in accordance with the hotel’s policies/procedures and the brand’s standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, as well as safety and security.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
