The Dir. of Quality Management shall direct and oversee all aspects of the organization's quality management system to include developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and any necessary training.

Essential Functions:

• Provide leadership and coordinate strategic business initiatives required to drive process improvement across the organization
• Develop, implement and manage the quality management, policies and procedures, processes, and forms to ensure the achievement of quality targets
• Ensure quality system metrics and key process indicators are maintained and that the results are used to drive continuous improvement
• Oversee a Corrective Action/Root Cause Analysis system to ensure timely and effective actions are implemented in response to all nonconformities identified
• Ability to identify, control and mitigate appropriate levels of systems, processes and product risk.
• Lead and communicate quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate and train Quality team, Management and all other appropriate staff on quality standards and parameters
• Maintain a system for controlling, storing and retaining necessary documentation and records
• Manage internal and external audits
• Review audit results and findings as needed to determine best course of action for corrective countermeasures and future risk
• Communicates the performance level of the quality management system and any improvements needed to top management
• Ability to prioritize and appropriately delegate responsibility while maintaining accountability
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and FAA standards as well as Federal, State and local regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Business or other related field
• 10+ years of experience in quality, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Significant knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, FAA standards, federal regulations, etc.
• Experience participating in/conducting audits
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective quality procedures
• Strong leadership skill including strategic thinking, leading and managing change, and conflict resolution
• Ability to travel between organization locations up to 35% of the tie
