Responsibilities

Director of Guest Services is responsible to manage all aspects of Front Services including Bell persons, Door Persons, Bell dispatchers, and Guest Services Managers. In addition, Director of Guest Services works as the on property liaison with our Valet company to ensure the scheduling and success of the valet operation is in correlation to business demands and expectations of the hotel. Director of Front Services will ensure operations are runing optimally on a day to day basis and will adhere to all CBA guidelines. Director of Guest Services will coordinate, direct and manage the team and all related movements everyday within the hotel operation to achieve profitability, guest satisfaction and efficiency while maintaining standards set by Fontainebleau Miami Beach assuring 100% guest satisfaction. The Director of Guest Services will also provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the hotel team members as it strives to provide the highest quality in standards and services.

Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, 401K, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Extensive understanding of 7i and the ability to maintain processes to ensure compliance.
  • Understanding of Accounting GL codes to be able to maintain the payroll journal efficiently.
  • Monitors all external applications and ensures enrollment is effective timely.
  • Serves as an employee advocate addressing questions from individuals, department leaders and HR.
  • Monitors all payroll and benefit legislation and provide compliance action recommendations.
  • Assists with audits throughout the year ensuring compliance and applicable standards.
  • Manages all leave of absence by administration of reporting and tracking.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices including but not limited to section 125, FSA, Cobra.
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of related experience within the hospitality industry is required.
  • Experience with Union.
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Proficient with Paycom.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
