St Elizabeth Care Center is seeking a Director of Nursing. We are a Skilled Long Term Care Facility located in St. Elizabeth, MO that specializes in the care and treatment of elderly and behavior patients. We are looking for an energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills to exercise administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing. The successful applicant will have strong leadership and supervisory skills, a rehabilitation focus, be challenged by behavior residents as well as the geriatric population. The Director of Nursing should be a hard-working and compassionate registered nurse who has steadily developed their managerial and administrative skills. Requirements:

• Previous ADON experience, with an excellent regulatory compliance record and a commitment to Total Quality Management.
• Experience working with Behavior Management residents strongly preferred.
• Must have a minimum of an ASN degree from accredited college or university
• Must be currently licensed/registered in Missouri. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• Must have two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Must have CPR certification upon hire.

Specific Job Requirements:

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needs
• Must be able to collect, analyze, and manage data
• Must have expert knowledge in field of practice
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in skilled nursing.
• Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
