Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Director of Loyalty Strategy to join our Loyalty Department where you’ll join a team of 30+ field professionals who love what they do. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader analytics, marketing, finance, consumer insights, sales, and legal teams where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

The Director of Loyalty Strategy leads the ongoing strategic enhancement and optimization of the loyalty program balancing needs of members, customers, colleagues, and owners. This role will design, build the business case and oversee cross-functional implementation of global program changes. Working with senior stakeholders across the enterprise, the Director of Loyalty Strategy will identify, solve, and act upon opportunities that drive program performance optimization and innovation.


This position will reports to the Vice President Loyalty Strategy and Partnerships

  • Develop long term global loyalty strategy and roadmap to drive loyalty KPIs (program design, points earning, rewards, benefits, including short, medium, and long-term change initiatives)
  • Responsible for applying strategic thinking to business case development for proposed benefit changes to drive brand preference including operational and financial impact on the program and/or hotels
  • Proactively monitor and understand member preferences, consumer sentiment, macro environmental trends, competitor landscape and aspirational loyalty programs outside of hospitality to assess competitive position, build on program strengths, shore-up program opportunities, and innovate in the white space
  • Lead B2B loyalty strategy – defining frameworks to align with program strategy and serve as primary contact to global sales organization

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant professional experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience within a consulting practice – ideally commercial focused
  • Must be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of evaluating, identifying, and executing against strategic opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in environments where there are competing resources and priorities, global operations and at times a high degree of ambiguity
  • Proven analytical ability and critical thinking skills, comfort with basic excel-based modeling
  • Creative/innovative approach to problem solving
  • History of delivering results and implementing change

Experience Preferred:

  • MBA preferred
