Summary:

The Director of HR Connections & Onboarding is a highly visible role that will work closely with all members of human resources, executives, and business leaders across the Deployed enterprise to create a positive onboarding process for all employees and ensure that they are met with a warm welcome.

The Director of HR Connections & Onboarding plays a critical role in listening to our employees and translating their feedback into insights and recommendations for creating a best place to work.

Essential Functions:

  • Directs and oversees all HR functions of the organization as it relates employee engagement, orientation, and onboarding
  • Manage client relationships with DR, CBP and ORR to ensure compliance with hiring and onboarding principles to include rapid vetting, eQIP, drug screening, background checks, child abuse and neglect (CAN) checks, etc.
  • Utilize data from engagement surveys and other teammate feedback to provide programs, resources, and coaching to leaders and employees on strategies to build engagement and enhance the employee experience
  • Set the overall vision and strategic plan for onboarding, focusing on providing the most efficient onboarding experience, leading a positive employee experience, and continually improving the onboarding journey
  • Design and improve onboarding processes, procedures, and tools to continually elevate, enhance efficiency and improve employee onboarding experience
  • Attends executive team meetings as needed to report human resources related issues
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Executive-level presence with an ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with senior leaders
  • Ability to use organizational development and change management strategies and tools to enhance engagement and build culture

  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of varied scopes in a cross-functional environment

  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks
  • Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of human resources management experience required; senior management or director level experience preferred
  • Organizational experience in government contracting environments, preferred
  • Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements and Service Contract Act (SCA) highly desirable
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Spanish bilingual, preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
