Requirements:
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Biological Sciences or Psychology
  • Advanced Degree is preferred
  • Must have 10+ years of experience in customer solutions, market research, customer experience, customer engagement, customer advocacy, or equivalent experience
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Must have relevant experience in customer and client-facing roles, including customer care, customer experience, client relations
  • Experience in provider relations, customer engagement, business development, external engagement, or advocacy experience in the New York City market is highly desired
  • Experience with relational database applications (MS Access, SAS, R) is strongly preferred.
  • Some knowledge of UX or design thinking experience is desirable
  • Must have an understanding of market research and analytics and the ability to translate to initiatives and action
  • Understanding of behavioral science and developing strategy is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Vice President of Customer Experience Strategy to create tailored solutions to improve satisfaction across segments
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Vice President of Customer Experience Strategy in building internal and external relationships with a penchant for focused action
  • Expand the impact of strategic initiatives from the CX organization by identifying improvement opportunities to elevate the customer experience across different lines of business
  • Partner with the Vice President of Customer Experience Strategy, Provider Engagement Lead and Provider facing teams, and government relations to map key opinions from leaders in external communities
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization on customer journey mapping initiatives
  • Build policies and procedures that create mechanisms for driving improvement in customer experience across the organization
  • Liaise with all customer interfacing organizations including Quality Management, Utilization Management, Care Management, and Customer Service to ensure that there is a clear alignment of customer experience goals across the organization
  • Cross-functional partnership across different customer experience project implementations
  • Support the training team with input on training programs as needed
  • Participate in relevant committees and work groups, develop presentations, and prepare reports, data, or other materials for committee presentation
  • Participate in special projects as needed
