We are hiring a Director of Analytics for our eCommerce team. This key role will report into the Vice President, This role functions as a strategic business leader within the digital marketing team and responsible for all things data to ensure that the business is utilizing data to make effective investment decisions that drive profitability. This individual will demonstrate an analytical and curious mind to understand customer behavior, identify trends, develop customer lifetime value models, create/enhance business dashboards, determine cross channel marketing attribution strategy, and manage 3rd party data houses. This role will partner with leadership, IT and internal teams to assess existing data assets, and appraise 3rd party vendor capabilities to ensure that the business is utilizing, and has access to, data to drive actionable decisions, as well as develop and provide business metric reporting and analytics. Additionally this role will work with internal business units to execute digital marketing initiatives and outline business requirements and plans. Performs research and analysis to identify incremental revenue streams for the business and provide insights regarding market trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, customer behavior, and current campaigns. This role will be responsible for managing a digital marketing team and will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and mentoring staff to include planning, approving, assigning, execution and checking of work. This role should be capable of taking on additional verticals and managing wider e-commerce functions. It is a highly visible leadership position with frequent interaction with internal teams and Executive leadership.

Ideal candidate is analytical, curious, entrepreneurial, a creative thinker and self-starter. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and have a background of success. Expert level proficiency with MS Office. Database experience a plus. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in digital marketing and e-commerce industries while leading multiple verticals.

How you will contribute:
  • Develop reporting on business metrics.
  • Develop various analysis based on business issues or questions.
  • Provide and present reports and to Executive leadership.
  • Develop testing strategies.
  • Performs research to identify revenue streams for the business.
  • Research trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
  • Responsible for managing a digital marketing team, including hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and mentoring staff.
  • Responsible for developing staff.
What you will bring and skills that excite us:
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing of Finance, Statistics or related field.
  • MBA and/or Master degree strongly preferred
  • 10-15+ years’ progressive experience in responsibilities and decision making in digital / e-commerce marketing, marketing research and execution
  • Strong marketing analysis skillset developed while working within digital/e-commerce marketing.
  • Ability to gain solid understanding of Bradford’s business.
  • Excellent aptitude for statistical/financial analysis is a must.
  • Must be PC proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience with database applications (such as Access or Cognos) preferred.
  • Understanding of SAS, SPSS, or other statistical software; Knowledge of a SQL based selection system, helpful.
  • Proven project management skills – must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks and complete in a timely manner.
  • Management/supervisory experience. Must be able to train, develop, mentor, and coach staff to grow them to the next level.
  • Experience handling multiple marketing verticals is a preferred.
  • Progressive experience relative to responsibilities and decision making.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Attention to detail
