Director – Hybrid Sales

What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Director, Hybrid Sales within our North American Fuel division. This position falls under our Fleetcor line of business and is located in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of the strategic plan for Hybrid Sales, as well as executive management of all Hybrid sales and business development functions reporting to the North America Local – President. We are standing up this sales channel from ground-up, you will in essence be employee #1. While this is primarily a Hybrid sales motion, there will be direct support from marketing to curate demand in the segment. Specific areas of responsibility include talent acquisition and retention, sales process execution, business development, channel strategy, performance management, and revenue attainment and profitability of the Hybrid Sales organization. This job will have a primary focus on creating & monetizing demand for the North American Fuel business for FLEETCOR. The role leads a sales organization of approximately 10-15 sales associates that target SMB prospects and leads - with plans to grow in 2023 and beyond. You will report directly to Director, Beyond Fuel and regularly collaborate with Sales team.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Attain revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop the hybrid demand sales strategy and provide leadership for all hybrid demand sales functions
  • Collaborate with marketing team leadership on the hybrid demand creation strategy and oversee execution
  • Develop the Hybrid management team and sales organization in the acquisition and onboarding of new customers
  • Collaborate with the sales operations and sales enablement functions as they drive incremental Hybrid sales productivity
  • Create the Hybrid Sales compensation plan, policy and procedures
  • Work with sales leadership, finance and product management functions to develop pricing and discount policies and procedures for Hybrid Sales
  • Participate in senior sales management sessions and executive-level projects
  • Lead Hybrid Sales managers in orchestrating internal and external resources throughout the sales process
  • Lead Hybrid sales managers to accurately capture and report account and opportunity information within Salesforce.com
  • Provide ongoing, accurate pipeline and forecast reports to the leadership.
  • Work with marketing to ensure all service-level agreements (SLAs) related to lead management are met
  • Work with sales operations to design and monitor the conversion of leads and applications
  • Design and optimize career paths within Hybrid Sales and, where appropriate, transition resources from Hybrid to more senior sales roles
Qualifications

  • Seven to 10 years of sales management experience with track record of quota achievement
  • Three to five years of inside sales management experience
  • Experience selling financial services or SaaS product/solution offerings to B2B companies, with a strong record of quota attainment
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodology
  • Strong process orientation and data analysis experience
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com and integration into sales technology and tools
