POSITION SUMMARY:

IPG is looking for a BI resource to handle the current demands of our agencies and provide adequate support to the Enterprise Analytics program. The individual will work as an SAP BW/HANA Business warehouse developer to implement new reporting solutions and support existing solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for defining information requirements and convert them into functional specifications, delivering proper conceptual designs, development, implement and support in SAP HANA/ BW and Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Responsible for developing complex HANA scripts and data models using Native HANA development tools. Creating and supporting Virtual tables, HANA views AMDP.
  • Responsible for designing and developing complex Reporting solutions and Dashboards.
  • Should have strong functional understanding to interpret data for meaningful analysis and factional intelligence.
  • Responsible for developing complex extraction models, transformation and loading operational setups. Creating and maintain Business Warehouse structures.
  • All solution must fit into the global reporting architecture. Validating that the solution meets the global and local business requirements.
  • Testing enhancements either through scheduled integration testing (via standard scripts) or on an ad-hoc basis for break-fix items, ensuring an adequate level of regression testing is performed.

EDUCATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of SAP BW experience and 3+ years’ experience with SAP HANA development including scripting and AMDP’s.
  • Multiple lifecycles of dashboard/report development preferably using Microsoft PowerBI (3)
  • Experience in developing Global BI Solutions from multiple SAP ECC systems and non-SAP applications.
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment and independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and present concise recommendation for resolution
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical/functional specification, delivering conceptual design solutions and effectively communicate to a broad audience
  • Experience within an agile environment preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred

SALARY RANGE:

The salary Range for this position is $120,000 and $135,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
