Georgia Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center is looking for an experienced LPN or Medical Assistant in our Tifton, GA office! We are looking to add valuable candidates to our growing team! Applicants must be able to work both independently and as a team and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with general, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic conditions
- Accurate medical record keeping and documentation
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- General cleanliness and setup of exam rooms before and after each work day
- Educate patients on medical treatments, prescribed medication(s), and conditions
- Most importantly, provide quality patient care and comfort to our patients
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate personality
- Knowledge of medical terminology and chart maintenance
- Knowledge or operative procedures and patient care
- Detail oriented and organized
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Medical Office experience is required
- Dermatology or Plastic Surgery experience is preferred

Pay: $15.64 - $18.84 per hour
