Dental Assistant (Periodontics) Job at Premier Care Dental Management
Please note: Previous dental assisting experience required. This position is full-time (Monday - Thursday), offering full benefits.
We are seeking a talented Dental Assistant to work alongside our Periodontic specialist in our state-of-the-art Staten Island practice!
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting patients, making them feel welcomed and comfortable
- Assist the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Dental Assisting experience
- CPR/BLS certification, preferred
- Efficient team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated and stable career history

Starting base salary expectations for this role can range from: $20 - $25/HR.
