Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant with a strong background in taking X-rays, Curve, and Dentrix knowledge to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. The dental assistant will work alongside the dentist to provide high-quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the dentist in all aspects of dental treatment, including taking patient history, preparing instruments and materials, and providing chairside assistance during procedures

· Take digital and traditional X-rays, as well as Panoramic and CBCT scans

· Manage patient records and input data into Curve and Dentrix systems

· Communicate with patients about their treatment plans and post-operative care

· Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

· Perform basic laboratory procedures such as pouring impressions and making temporary crowns

· Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed

· Schedule and confirm appointments with patients

Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant with experience in taking X-rays

· Knowledge of Curve and Dentrix software

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

· Certification in Radiology required

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
