Delivery Driver Job at Newtonville Laundromat
Pickup and delivery laundry service seeking an evening delivery driver in the Newton area Monday through Friday.
Hours: 5 PM to 7:30 PM M-F - Varies based on daily orders.
Responsibilities:
Pick up laundry at various residential and commercial locations, drop off at the laundromat, and take any deliveries ready to go out.
Requirements:
You live near the Newton/Watertown/Waltham area
Current and valid driver's license
Personal GPS device
Relatively clean personal vehicle with space for deliveries (SUV or van preferred, but not required)
Able to work Monday through Friday evenings
Compensation:
Pay starts at $25 per shift, plus $2.50 for each pickup or delivery - generally $22 to $25 per hour. Cash.
The shift generally takes 1.5 to 2 hours to do all the pick ups and deliveries. Occasionally if it is busy, time required might be 2 - 2.5 hours, but rarely more than that.
