Safari West Wildlife Preserve and Guest Resort is currently seeking a full-time position for a Deli Attendant to stock shelves, serve guests, and be able to open or close the Deli/Snack-bar. Must be 21 years or older to serve alcohol and be experienced with retail transactions and cash registers. Must have the ability to learn our reservation system. A positive and customer- oriented mindset with a comfort level working with large groups of people while providing excellent customer service is also required. Our guests often ask questions about other places to visit in Sonoma and Napa Counties so local knowledge is a big plus. The hours are approximately 8-3:30 earlier shift and 11-7:30 later shift, need to have weekend availability and we are open most Holidays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for providing guests with food and drinks throughout the day.
• Have knowledge about Safari West operations.
• Responsible for the appearance of the deli, both inside and out.
• Maintain a clean and organized area at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Excellent customer service and communication skills; be a positive and enthusiastic team member
* Experience in hospitality and in the handling retail transactions a plus
* Attention to detail
* Be dependable and have reliable transportation

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be 21 years or older.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hrs.
* Food handler and alcohol certified (can be acquired on the job)
