Creative Options offers an opportunity for individuals to engage in activities by supporting individuals based on what is identified in their Person-Centered Plan. This day program supports adults interested in developing skills toward employment and community engagement, creating meaningful relationships in the community, developing problem solving skills, and managing their own social and behavioral needs.

The Community Services Associate II/ Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals in a group home environment. The CSA II will be responsible for the well-being of individuals with a variety of mental, physical, and medical care needs. This position will support the individuals in building news skills, performing routine activities, and maintaining or improving their health and safety status. The CSA II will be responsible for giving medications and interacting with medical professionals.

Requirements: One year of direct care experience working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities or mental illness, CNA a plus.

Valid Driver's License.

As a condition of employment with Hampton – Newport News CSB, you are required to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID 19 or fit within an exemption under the law. Accordingly if selected, employment is conditioned on providing proof of vaccination or having an approved exemption prior to starting employment.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
