General Description:

The Router Technician will be required to convert shop routing documents, currently residing in SFE system, to a compatible standardized format and to transfer the converted documents into OASIS SAP by means of various IT Tools.

Responsibilities

  • Will be required to extract and convert multiple sets of existing master shop routing documents to merge into a single flow set of instructions, while ensuring that the conversion meets requirements of the engine shop manual, site quality requirements and other engineering technical requirements
  • Creating relevant project documentation and tracking status of all assigned tasks to ensure all routers will be converted in a timely manner
  • Work with other departments for continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, GMP, and safety standards

Minimum qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in Aerospace or Aircraft Engine Maintenance or Mechanical or Software Engineering or in similar field.
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand relevant technical documentation, manuals or instructions.
  • Background or knowledge of MRO business environment.
  • Proficient in MS Power Point, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly new IT tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve aggressive deadlines.
  • Work and figure out ways in providing end-to-end services to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills – will be taking to development teams of varied skills, across globe and hence, this becomes especially important.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Strong technical report writing background – preferably in aviation industry.
  • Previous internship or working experience in MRO shop.
  • Knowledge about SAP software.
  • Patient and Articulation skills – will be connecting with IT development team who will be customizing the tools.
  • Self-sufficient – after initial training should be independent to take things forward and add value to the process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
