DATA ENTRY REPRESENTATIVE for SMART HOME TECHNOLOGY AND AFTERMARKET SERVICE DEPARTMENTS

This position will focus primarily on contract management for security and maintenance programs as well as Service Order (SO) creation. This position will work with the branches and warranty departments on SO creations as well as the billing department and assist with collecting dollars and closing Work Orders. This position will be primarily responsible for Service Tracker Entries and follow up accordingly to ensure those SO’s are resolved. This position will also provide back-up to the Job Prep Representative position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts related to security and maintenance programs
  • Create Service Orders in coordination with branches, warranty departments, and billing department
  • Assist in closing Work Orders
  • Ensure timely and accurate entries in the Service Tracker system
  • Follow up on Service Orders to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide support and back up to the Job Prep Representative position
  • Provide support in warehouse operations, use a pallet jack, or unload a pallet of speakers on occasion
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth contract management and service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contracts, Service Orders, and billing
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Prepare miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 1 to 2+ years experience
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Hiring preference is given to those with solid experience in the related field
  • Must be able to read documents, printouts, reports, computer screens and other written communications
  • Must be able to write, type and use phone system
  • Willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
  • Superb organizational and time management abilities

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
