Description/Job Summary
The Data Analyst: regional physical security works within the analytics and security risk management division, supporting regional and national security service initiatives at Kaiser Permanente. This is a fully remote position, residence in one of the markets preferred (Northern California, Southern California/Hawaii, or Markets Outside California: Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC). This position may allow for some travel opportunities (preferred location within or near a region of responsibility: Northern California, Southern California/Hawaii, or Markets Outside California: Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC). This position reports to the Senior Director and is primarily responsible for providing analytical support to key business leaders and stakeholders who oversee regional security operations, while also identifying process improvement opportunities, devising data collection strategies, and automating insightful reports that support decision-making efforts. As a data and analytics subject matter expert (SME), the Senior Analyst will serve as a regional system administrator for the enterprise security reporting platform, responsible for training, compliance, quality control, and performance audits. In addition, this role will involve occasional ad hoc requests, cross-functional support of process improvement and workflow optimization efforts, project management, technical writing, metrics development, and presentations to senior management.
Range:
$104-145,000/annual

Analysis of Security Reporting Data: analytical support to key business leaders and stakeholders, proactively developing reports and insights that support business operations, contributing to ongoing quarterly executive reports and business reviews, delivering ad hoc information requests, conducting deep dive analyses, root cause analyses, business cases

Analytics & Business Intelligence Tools: contribute to the development of analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization tools by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Work with program owners to develop and manage key performance indicators and other performance metrics
