Responsibilities:
What you’ll do
Wieland currently has an immediate opportunities for a Customer Service Specialist to join the Midwest Transportation team at Wieland Recycling - Granite City. This position will help lead and coordinate customer communication to ensure company goals and customer satisfaction levels are maintained, all while gaining experience in all aspects of the transportation industry! This role will sit on-site at Wieland's Recycling facility in Granite City, IL.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to multi-task in a high paced environment. Previous Logistics experience is a plus!

Pay Schedule:
Weekly
Shift Schedule : Monday - Friday from 7 am - 3 pm (Flexible)
Pay: $20/hr. +

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Communicate and coordinate with our customers to maintain pickup and delivery schedules
  • Work closely with our Commercial team to understand contract requirements
  • Maintain good business relationships with our customers and internal Commercial department to resolve issue quickly
  • Improve customer satisfaction by keeping records of customer interactions, comments and complaints
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
What you’ll need
  • High School diploma required
  • Prior experience with a transportation or trucking company preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong computer skills with MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook & Google
  • You should be well organized, flexible, dependable, and have outstanding communication skills
