Location: Knecht Home Center of Gillette
Knecht Home Center, a Mead Lumber Company, is a leading provider of products to professional contractors, construction builders and remodelers. We have 52 operating locations across 9 Midwestern states. 100% employee-owned, we are the 16th largest building material suppliers to professional builders in the country.

Full-Time position
Previous retail sales experience is a plus, but will train the right candidates.
CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy. Learn proper procedures for orders, special orders, purchase orders, returns, payment on account, and merchandise receiving
- Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant and effective manner.
- Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers.
- Process customers quickly, efficiently and effectively.
- Issue proper receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
- Count cash drawer at opening and close every day.
CUSTOMER SERVICE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education/Training:
- High School degree
- A willingness to learn
- Experience in a retail environment either in cashier, sales, or back office
- Experience in the hardware environment would be helpful
- A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
