Position Overview:
This position provides the daily customer service communication between camp staff and camper families. Primary Responsibilities of the position include: parent liaison for the camp-wide communications regarding daily camper needs, ensure campers remain safe during drop-off and pick-up. A successful candidate will also have an understanding of child development.

Job Description:
The Customer Experience Specialist’s role is to partner with parents to ensure their camper is able to have a successful week at camp! The individual in this position will be able to communicate to parents information from the counselors that can be as simple as a missing lunch or water bottle, as well as behavioral issues. The Customer Experience Specialist will need to be positive and compassionate in these encounters. This position is key for partnering with the campers’ parents to support them as well as the campers and ensuring a safe and fun time at camp.

Anticipated Work Hours Per Week:
40 hours per week


Must be able to attend required training:

  • In-person PAID training on Saturday, June 3 & Sunday, June 4 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Webinar - TBD
Qualifications:
Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Career or equivalent experience in education or child centered organization
  • Comfort with public speaking (to parents, staff and groups of campers)
  • Prior summer camp experience is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarized with using basic computer based communication systems, such as email, microsoft office suite, or Google suite
