Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) at Leisure World, Seal Beach (LWSB) is currently recruiting for a full-time Receptionist / Office Assistant for our Stock Transfer Department. In this role, you can expect to be the first point of contact for the Stock Transfer Office; from answering the department telephones, assisting Member Records Coordinators in daily clerical tasks; assembling new member "welcome kits," issuing identification cards to residents, pet and caregiver registrations, and more.

We consider this position to be the 'concierge' of GRF. Our Stock Transfer Department maintains records of all stock ownership for the Mutual Corporations, updates resident database, and membership records for GRF.

This position is not open to LWSB members/residents to lessen the risk of exposing GRF members' confidential financial or personal information.

Your Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

  • Full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
  • This position is 100% on-site.

What you will be doing:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions as well as being the initial point of contact for the Stock Transfer department. You can expect to field a variety of calls relating to the membership within the community, pet registration, caregiver registrations, trusts, membership identification cards, client relations, and more. As time permits, you may be called upon to assist Member Records Coordinators in clerical support.

To be successful in this role you must have:
• 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Phenomenal customer service.
  • Superior organization skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and detailed instructions as directed.
  • Highly proficient computer skills including MS Office, databases.
  • Demonstrated excellent in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn.
It's strongly preferred if you have prior experience in:
• Office administration
  • HOA industry

Hourly Pay Range is $20.79 per hour up to $28.27 per hour.

Compensation offered will be based on job experience and other job-related factors.
