EDUSTAFF HIRED EMPLOYEE

JOB TITLE: Custodial (2nd Shift) - Floater

HOURS: 1:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (includes ½ hour unpaid lunch). 8 hours per day (52 Weeks)

*1st shift for summer = 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (1/2 hour unpaid lunch)

BENEFITS: Single Medical Benefits Available

RATE: $16.50

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Primary Responsibilities:

· Report to Lead Custodian or Custodial Supervisor.

· Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility.

· Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.

· Operate floor equipment such as; auto floor scrubbers and vacuums.

· Empty trash receptacles.

· General cleaning of furniture, windows, window sills, and walls.

· Stocking restrooms, janitorial closets and break rooms.

· Setting up and cleaning up after scheduled events.

· Light building maintenance.

· General snow removal/lawn care as needed.

· Self-transportation between buildings.

Position Requirements:

· 1 year of custodial/ janitorial experience.

· Clean driving record, due to usage of a vehicle during scheduled work hours.

· Must pass a drug test and physical, and will be included in the random draw drug process.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

· Ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Ability to pass a criminal background check.

· Ability to manage conflict in the workplace effectively and professionally.
