2nd Shift Custodian – Job Description – 12-12-22

Are you an experienced Janitorial Support Person with experience as a 2nd Shift Custodian looking to take your talents to a new level? Janitronics Building Services, Inc. is seeking several 3rdShift Custodians in the janitorial services industry to join our dynamic team in the Metrowest- area. We are seeking candidates with the right balance of leadership and skills, along with superior customer service skills.

Part time Monday through Friday

Job Posting Title and Summary:
2nd Shift Custodian

Job Description:

• Sweep and wet mop or machine scrub all hard surface floor areas.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas including walk off mats, entry carpets in vestibules, etc.
• Maintain elevators to include vacuuming
• Clean entrances including glass walkways, thresholds, etc.
• Detail cleaning of restrooms, re-stock paper products accordingly
• Inspect lunchrooms and/or cafeterias and break areas and clean as necessary
• Empty receptacles in building interior / exterior
• Inspect dumpster areas for debris and ensure the scheduled pick-up has been made
• Report building deficiencies
• Maintain Stairwells

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
Some cleaning experience and basic mechanical knowledge is desirable

Janitronics Building Services, Inc. - based in Waltham Massachusetts - is an established and growing janitorial, commercial cleaning, and building services management firm. This position will be located at one our client’s campus sites in the Metrowest Area. Janitronics Building Services is an equal opportunity employer.

Pay: From $17.14 per hour
