Cheba Hut started back in 1998 in Tempe, Arizona. We started with a pipe dream…Craft some tasty, stoner-approved toasted subs and munchies from scratch, create a fire workplace for our friends, and do it all in a relaxed environment where people could escape the grind. We couldn’t have accomplished anything without the help of many hardworking homies along the way, and now we need you to help us continue our toker trip!

Job Summary:
As a Cheba Hut Crew Member, you will be the face of the shop and the entire Cheba nation. You will craft great food by hand, engage the people around you in a positive way, and give a damn about your team, your shop, and your customers!

• Position Requirements:
• Texas Food Handler Certified
• Ability to be on your feet up to 10 hours a day
• Reliable transportation to & from workplace
• Ability to work alongside & communicate respectfully with others
• Competency to follow written & verbal instructions
• Ability to move up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work well under mental & physical pressure

Interactions:

• Guide guests through the dining experience via Cheba Hut points of service
• Process Cash & Credit payments according to standard operating procedures
• Work with team members to deliver above par experiences
• Anticipate guests needs in order to exceed expectations

Product Quality:

• Prepare dank food per Cheba Hut recipes & operating procedures
• Maintain food handling, safety & sanitation processes
• Complete food preparation in timely manner ensuring Cheba’s fresh qualitative assurances
• Utilize equipment safely & effectively during prep projects

Cleanliness:

• Clean & sanitize all contact surfaces & prep areas
• Ensure opening, mid, closing & detail cleaning is completed in timely manner
• Keep lobby, customer service areas & guests line of sight clean & free of debris
• Monitor & support upkeep & cleanliness of equipment & facilities
