We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Patrol Officers to join our apartment community. The ideal candidate will have a background in police work and a genuine desire to assist the community.

Qualifications:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be currently working for the police force, proof of employment will be required. (Schaumburg PD preferred but not a must)
• Individual must be available to work evening hours
• Individual must obtain a marked police vehicle
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience

Responsibilities:

• The Courtesy Patrol Officer is responsible to observe and report all incidents that occur on their property or properties they are assigned.
• Security Officers are also responsible for enforcing all property rules and regulations and up channel all concerns to either property management and/or Law Enforcement as necessary.
• Observe and report property activity, utilize incident report to document use of force, law enforcement activity, guest injury, and property damage.
• Maintain a daily activity report which documents patrol, guest communication, property violations, safety concerns, light survey, vacancy inspections, and additional information.
• Receive calls from management related to changes in operations, service, or general communication.
• Protecting the property from theft, vandalism, disturbances, accidents etc.
• Detect signs of intrusion.
• Investigate suspicious activity.
