The Courtesy Clerk is first and foremost responsible for customer relations and satisfaction. They provide courteous, efficient bagging, carryout and general customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Help create a culture of food exploration, innovation and education for customers and employees.

· Maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with an emphasis on fast, friendly, courteous service.

· Maintains a friendly and cooperative working relationship with wo-workers and supervisors.

· Assists customers with product location, unloading carts, bagging orders and providing carryout service as required.

· Verifies prices, returns merchandise from the check stand area to display area, retrieves shopping carts from parking lot, and ensures adequate supply of bags in the check stands.

· Responsible for maintaining company cleanliness and safety standards in check stand area, store aisles, restrooms, entryways and parking lot.

· Responsible for performing all job duties with honesty and integrity.

· Performs other duties as requested or required by upper management.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Education Level:

High School

Experience Level:

Must be 16 years or older.

Skills and Experiences:

· Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner.

· Requires good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to show tact and courtesy, and maintain composure in dealing with customers and co-workers.
